Are you an experienced Station Hand looking for your next challenge? Minilya Station: Minilya Station is located on the North-West Coastal Highway, approximately 140 kms north of Carnarvon. Minilya spans 273,000 hectares bordering the Minilya and Lyndon Rivers and Barrabiddy Creek. Their natural flood zones support a huge variety of pasture and saltbush species, with established buffel grass throughout the sand hill country. The Opportunities: We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Station Hand to join our friendly team based at Minilya Station . This is a permanent, full-time position to start as soon as possible to provide day-to-day support to the Station Managers in all aspects of station operations. Ideally you will have a high standard of workmanship with a solution focused mindset, take pride in your work & enjoy working in a small team of 4 people. Please note: Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia. Full kitchen & food supplied – meals to be prepared by individuals. Dogs are not permitted. Our ideal candidates will have: Previous experience in a similar role is favourable. Confidence riding horses and/or motorbikes. Ability to identify & repair common water issues – (e.g. troughs, tanks, poly lines, pumps) Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and animal welfare. Capacity to work both independently & in a small team, with strong communication skills. An organised, efficient demeanor with a high standard of workmanship. A can-do attitude and the ability to jump in & do whatever is required to get the job done is essential. A current manual driver’s licence. Sufficient fitness level is required for the role. Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment.
